yesterday was a pretty good day, all things considered. good chat with friends which elicited much laughter and jokes, trekking around shenton way without having to carry anything, and being sent home by elvis :) not forgetting our little sports thing in the morning, though we missed the guys' match against the yr3s!

i love rachel chia yan mei :) haha thanks for being a constant source of inspiration, for being sucha rock in my life. even after a week of emotional baggage accumulated from a lot of people, you have the ability to make it all seem so miniscule. thanks for the support and being the voice of reason, you're so much stronger than me, in every sense of the word :] and i know you'd do things very differently if you were in my shoes and i respect that, cos i know i cld never do it.

sometimes its amazing that friends, being objective bystanders, can see things so much more clearly than you ever can. and how lucid the picture is to them, yet for the life of me, i cant see past the murky duckweed on the surface of the water.

and then you realise, some people change and you dont really quite know them after all.

its so hard not to get caught up in the superficiality of the world, aye?
